Management Based Employment Issues We have an employer based employment practice that ranges from employment counseling to defending litigation. This includes proactively advising business clients on compliance issues under employment discrimination laws. This proactive approach is designed to minimize or reduce the prospect of adverse agency proceedings, reduce the risk of employee lawsuits, and promote or enhance employee performance and morale within the client=s workplace. When needed, we also assist clients by defending against complaints filed with the Department of Labor or the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and defending against claims of employment discrimination in State and Federal courts. Our employment practice also includes drafting personnel manuals and employment contracts as well as litigating employment based contract disputes such as non-compete clauses, restrictive covenants, and suits under the Georgia Trade Secrets Act.
